Communications Trainee Program (Pharmaceuticals)


You will gain insights into various areas of Communications and take part in a wide range of training activities. You will work in an interdisciplinary team of experts, which enables you to be holistically involved in diverse activities of the Communications function, with a particular focus on the Pharmaceuticals business. In addition, you will be part of an established communications trainee-community.


Within the Pharmaceuticals Communications team you will work in the fields of Executive Communication & Strategic PR as well as Innovation Communication.


YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support implementation of Pharma’s global digital strategy across different internal and external channels
  • Support development and execution of digital communication activities with a focus on further enhancing the company’s reputation in the digital space
  • Support the planning and execution of media interviews and (media) events
  • Support planning and execution of global PR plans/tactics including message and corresponding material development across internal and external channels
  • Support media relations to shape external perception of Bayer portfolio
  • Manage cross functional alignment among internal and external stakeholders on PR materials
  • Collaboration in a cross-functional and international team

WHO YOU ARE

  • Passion for Communications with strong writing skills and first experience in applying design, analytical and AI tools
  • University degree (Bachelor or Masters in Communication or Public Relations) or comparable
  • Initial practical experience through internships and/or freelance work in print, TV, radio and online media or in the PR sector and / or project management
  • Curiosity and openness to learn
  • Quick grasp, organizational talent, and ability to work in a team
  • Strong commitment, flexibility, and self-initiative
  • Ability to understand complex issues and to structure and present results in an easily comprehensible way
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
